i need to stop making sets

shit set lol bye

so for christmas, i'm asking for a new camera..but honestly i don't know which one to get.
 
i've had my other digital camera for quite sometime. it's a canon and i've dropped it many times, and it's still in perfect condition, and it works fine. i've just had it for soo long...it has 7mp.. i'd really like to get a new one with better quality.
 
so if you have any recommendations, please leave them below telling me about your experience with it! (:
 
i'd like a camera with 10mp at the least. and under $150 please. i'm 13 and i don't need a super awesome, amazing camera for photography. i just kinda want one that takes pictures and videos well enough for memories and stuff.

this set is such a fail on my part....oh well. it's my first real set in what seems like forever. it was in my drafts for the longest time too..

okay so I'm leaving for a trip to California in a couple days..and I have yet to start packing.
 
But I haven't been on a plane in like two or three years and the things I packed then, has drastically changed since.
 
I'll be packing a carry on and the liquids rule is seriously pissing me off...but whatever.
 

When going through security for carry on luggage, what should I do/be cautious of?
 
& if I have like mints, gum, or even just a lipgloss in my bag, will they make me throw that away?
